It is quiet easy to judge a criminal. To hate, to condemn is as effortless to us as breathing itself. Yet take a closer, more unbiased look at them…surely you feel your heart stop for a second, feel the goosebumps crawl up your skin. Is there something you recognise of yourself in them? No, shake your head, of course not. Then what makes them so different? They are a product of our society… or aren’t they? What drives their motivation? Nature or nurture?

4 months of running around all over Karachi to track down criminologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, sociologists has finally materialised into the documentary above or the IBA National Documentary Competition. Honestly, its not a masterpiece, and I know I’m capable of doing better but not bad for unprofessionals, no?
